Official visit to Korea Food Research Institute, One Faculty One MoU Project

 

On December 3-9, 2022, a group of executive staff, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujinda Sriwattana (Dean), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichaya Poonlarp (Associate Dean), Asst. Prof. Dr. Sorraya Khiewnavawongsa (Assistant Dean) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Akkasit Jongjareonrak, Head of Food Process Engineering Division, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphat Phongthai, Head of Food Science and Technology Division are scheduled to be traveling to Korea under the “One Faculty One MoU” project to strengthen cooperation on translational research and paid a courtesy call on Korean executive staff.  This project received financial support from Chiang Mai University and the Faculty of Agro-Industry.  The visiting schedule is as follows:

 

December 5, 2022 – Visit Korea Food Research Institute (KFRI) to pay a courtesy call on KFRI’s executive staff: Dr. Baek Hyung Hee (President), Dr. Choi In Wook (Vice President), Dr. Kim Hyun Jung (Director of Food Convergence Research Division), Dr. Chung June Young (Leader of International Relations) and Dr. Kim Kyung Tak, to discuss a possibility of joint research, staff and researchers exchange and to pay a short visit to Food Convergence Research Division.

 

December 7, 2022 – Visit Korea University to pay a courtesy call on Prof. Cheol-Won Yun, Dean of the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Prof. Hyun Jin Park and join the Mini Symposium hosted by KU

 

December 8, 2022 – Visit College of Energy & Biotechnology, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) to meet the Dean of Office of International Affairs and Asst. Prof. Dr. Minsuk Kong, Chair of Food Science and Technology Department of College of Energy & Biotechnology.
